About Digital Transformation

The University’s Digital First Strategy is an exciting and ambitious transformation plan which aims to ensure learning, teaching, research, professional services and infrastructure at the University operate under excellent digital environments.

Following approval of the strategy in 2021, the last two years have seen a number of exciting and innovative changes delivered across the institution and this will continue to grow in the coming years. The Digital team are also now growing to support this continued ambition.

You will be joining a team who are responsible for the strategic change portfolio across the University, which includes delivering cutting edge technology to meet our Digital First roadmap as well as identifying and assessing new and emerging demand or requirements via collaborative stakeholder relationships across the institution.

The core functions of the team are setting strategic direction, project and programme management, business analysis and stakeholder management. The Digital portfolio is an always evolving collection of projects and programmes, which is managed using a modern, Agile methodology to ensure change is delivered in a well governed, efficient way. Every member of the team will interact with stakeholders and colleagues from across the University, building and developing relationships to ensure all areas of the University are part of our Digital Transformation.

All of the roles in the team are key to ensuring the ongoing success of our Digital First Strategy and will provide the University with a long-term, best practise strategic change function.
